This project was my first client work. The objective of the project was to design a website to the client. I completed it in a month, and learned how to use different web hotels and how to create responsive website for the client.

Introduction

The goal was to create a website to my client hair salon Hesperianpuisto. The hair salon is a new in business and needed the websites quickly. I demonstrated to the client different options and they decided to use a web hotel, where I would be in a key position of designing the website.

The hair salon has an Art Deco atmosphere, so I used this as an inspiration of my design.

About the project

This was my first time with this web hotel, so I had to learn how to control it. I needed to make pages (front page, information, a price list, contact and opening hours). I set up colors and typefaces. I needed to create a booking button which is directed to a booking company called Timma, there customers can book freely times for the hair salon.

Responsibilities

In the beginning I checked domain name, what we could use in case someone had reserved the domain already. The client wanted the domain’s name to be kampaamohesperianpuisto.com. Creating the web hotel. I did audit of hair salons in Helsinki.

Conducting paper and digital wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, iterating on designs.
